DreamStartm Courses


If you’d like to receive mentoring, you can arrange that on an hourly basis. However, if you want to learn co-creative dream analysis in a structured, self-paced format, please consider enrolling in our new Mastering the fiveStar Method Course (under redevelopment, see below), and/or full Certification program.

General Dreamwork Courses

  • Mastering the FiveStar Method, now under re-development on Voomly.com! Our Principal Trainer, Kim Phetteplace, is working with Dr. Sparrow to make this exciting multimedia course available by fall of 2022.


Certification Program
If you are interested in becoming certified by DreamStar Institute, DreamStar Certification requires the satisfactory completion of the Certification Course and the Mentored Practicum. Eight sessions of an online group, if available, plus one individual session, can substitute for the Practicum with prior approval.

  • DreamStar Certification Course, consisting of 7 modules of self-paced online study. Each module has its own certificate of completion with contact hours included. We provide feedback for your responses to the interactive questions posted on the Course Forum. Cost: $199 and 28 contact hours, payable via Paypal at the Course Management Center. The seven Certification Course modules are as follows:
MODULE 1: Lucid Dreaming as a Foundation for a New Approach to Dream Analysis
MODULE 2: Understanding Dreams as an Interactive Process
MODULE 3: An Introduction to the FiveStar Method
MODULE 4: Working Ethically and Non-Invasively with Dream Imagery
MODULE 5: An In-Depth Exploration of the FiveStar Method
MODULE 6: Methods for Enhancing Awareness and Constructive Engagement in Dreams
MODULE 7: Fostering Spiritual Communion and Deep Healing in Dreams

  • Mentored Practicum (Prerequisite: DreamStar Certification Course). During the practicum, you will schedule three Zoom sessions with a trainer, submit samples of actual dream work that we will  review with you during our sessions, and participate in personal dream work as a way to develop a hands-on competency with this methodology. The practicum will involve written and verbal feedback from your trainer. Cost: $299 with nine contact hours.

Upon completion of the Certification Course and Mentored Practicum, you will receive a certificate bestowing your DreamStar Certification.
